Events for the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia

The LGBTI Support Centre invites you to attend tomorrow’s events for the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. The program was jointly organized with several other organizations, such as the Coalition “Sexual and health rights of the marginalized communities”, LGBT United, HERA and EGAL.

The program starts at 12 o’clock with the presentation of the first annual memorandum of the Regional Network Against Homophobia. At 12:15, there will be a presentation of ILGA Europe’s index map for the countries of the European Region. The location for these events is the GEM Club in the Old Bazaar.

This is just a part of the events happening these days on the occasion of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. On the 18th of May, at 19:00, in the LGBTI Support Centre, there shall be a promotion of the book “Decent life”, which is a collection of stories by lesbians from Serbia. Representatives from Labris, Belgrade, shall attend the presentation and there shall also be a discussion.

Furthermore, on the 19th of May, starting at 17:00, the second Lazy Sunday event will take place at the LGBTI Support Centre. This event shall be dedicated to the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. On the 23rd of May, at 12:00 in the GEM Club, there shall be a promotion of the Shadow Report on the implementation of the Council of Europe Recommendation CM/Rec(2010)5 regarding the measures against discrimination of LGBTI people in Macedonia.
