Првa традиционална хомосексуална свадба во Африка

Цепо Камерон Модисан и неговиот партнер Тоба Калвин Ситол, се првата африканска хомосексуална двојка, која се венчала во традиционални носии. Истополовите бракови се легални во Јужна Африка веќе шест години, но ова е првата двојка која чинот го направила во традиционална носија.

За време на церемонијата, се почитувале обичаите на племињата Зулу и Цвана, од каде потекнуваат младенците. На денот на венчавката, тие жртвувале крава.

Двојката планира да има дете, со помош на сурогат мајка.

– Благословени сме што имаме семејство кое не сака и подржува. Не сакаат иако сме хомосексуалци – изјавил Цепо.
